Working with wine glasses. Fun but dangerous, if you're a piece of hardware.. Thankfully nothing spilled!

Had an opportunity yesterday to visit old town pasadena (LA). Wanted to raise some money to give to the homeless; took an hour or so to play new songs and old ones and flipped open the guitar case with a sign "raising money for the homeless, whatever you can give". Well, it took a while but after a broken string and $4 stolen by a passerby there was about 7 dollars in the case. Took it across the street and gave it to a homeless man named Terry. Got to hear his story and had a great conversation with him about why I wanted to do it (if your wondering, check out Philippians 2:1-18, also Ephesians 2:8-9).
God Bless!

This collaboration (with Roger Hooper, Vs. The Brain, and Defacto Sound) was exciting, challenging, moving, and inspirational; the team I worked with was very talented and thoughtful.
The most exciting part composing to this video was telling the story. This was also the most challenging part, because its not my story to tell! In a lot of ways this film was very inspirational to work on. In particular, I found that the more time I spent in the story, the more I enjoyed what I was doing; which is important, I am learning.
More to come soon. Thanks!

The story behind this track is mixed with fear, sadness, and celebration. Its the story of adoption.
I know several families right now that are adopting children from Uganda, and have been very grateful to follow the stories these people are living out.
Hopefully, when the track plays, it illustrates something of what these people have been through, are going through, and will go through.
Happy new year by the way!

Every season has opportunities; to make mistakes, to learn, and make improvements. I find that the more these seasons happen, the more opportunity there is to grow. To sum it up, I have a lot of growing to do. What matters is doing the best you can with what you have every time. That is excellence.
Thank you! To everyone growing with me.
